I come to TrekNorth with 22 years of teaching experience ranging froman administrative position in San Antonio, TX to Biology/Life Science teaching and led 25+ trips as Summer
Recreation/Outdoor Ed director.in Byron, MN, to the Bemidji Middle School to Schoolcraft Learning Community and now to TrekNorth. Along the way I've taught life, earth and physical science, biology, zoology, math, English and social studies. I've coached golf, football, softball and Science Olympiad teams.

Away from school I enjoy SCUBA diving, fishing, turkey hunting and golf. At Trek I'll be teaching Biology I and II, Algebra I and Jr. High Life Science. I will also be going on several trips with students,
paddling, climbing and hiking, which I am eagerly looking forward to. At some point in the future, I'd like to get trips/adventures involving SCUBA diving with the kids. As a PADI divemaster, I can
offer Discover SCUBA experiences giving kids a taste of what SCUBA is like, hopefully awakening a desire to become SCUBA certified. At that point, we can look at taking SCUBA trips to any of the thousands of destinations that offer awesome diving opportunities.
