This week we welcomed Unified Ambassadors Myron and Chloe to Trek and took part in the first ever Unified Indigenous Games! We met athletes from 8 area schools, played games, shared stories and ate delicious food. Miigwech for representing Trek and being great sports!

Come join us at TrekNorth for an Ojibwe Storytelling evening! Thursday, December 15th from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Elaine Fleming and Michael Lyons (Boozhoo Nanaboozhoo) will be sharing traditional winter Ojibwe stories.
Parent Information Meeting for the Speech Team is Thursday, December 1st at 7 pm in the TN Commons. Parents of new and returning speakers should plan to attend to complete required forms and learn more about this activity and how to support your Student Speaker this season!
Winter Formal is this Saturday 7-11. Grand March will be at 7:15 in the TrekNorth commons.
New toys are being collected by the TrekNorth Student Council on Dec 1-16, 2022 for the Northwood Battered Women's Shelter. Toys of all ages are welcome. There is a specific need for toys for teens. To donate, bring unwrapped items and place in the box by the front desk of TrekNorth. Thank you for making the holiday season more joyful for others!
This group of TrekNorth student council leaders attended the MASC/MAHS State Leadership Forum held in November at Cragun's Resort near Brainerd, Mn. They participated with nearly 600 other student leaders from across Minnesota listening to speakers, doing activities, and exchanging ideas in small groups. They further developed their leadership skills and brought back ideas to use at school.
Never tried nordic skiing? Tried it, and want to have fun again? Come and join the JH Nordic Ski Club! Pick up an information packet and waiver form at the front desk. Take these home to be completed and returned by November 30th. First practice starts on Monday, December 5th at 3:30-5pm. Ask Elizabeth for more details.
